Some UOR properties now belong to an Affordable Rent Scheme...

When you are bidding for a home you may notice that some of our properties now belong to an Affordable Rent Scheme, which is a new initiative that the Government has introduced.

There is a higher rent charge for properties available to rent under the Affordable Rents Scheme and the income that is generated from higher rent charges will be used to help finance more new homes.

Please make sure you can afford the rent for any properties that you bid on, and check that the amount of housing benefit you receive will cover the full cost of the rent.
